Converted a second transitional
home for families to an Education House, where homeless
parents enrolled in higher education receive specialized support
to achieve long-term career goals and increase earning power.
• Acquired
The Family Connection,
a highly regarded program that addresses a previously unmet
need at COTS to provide aftercare – in the form of trained,
supervised volunteer teams – for the first year after
families exit emergency shelters or transitional housing.
