Holiday Giving Trees, Host your own giving tree

In the links below you will find wish lists for general items which are appreciated by participants throughout the year. We can’t tell you what it means to the ones that come to COTS and receive the generous donations most needed.

We offer hand decorated gift tags for your tree with wish lists printed on them, or gift tags for individual children and adults.

If you want to make your own tags -- Chose a heavier colored paper. Print the file Gift Tags Front Choose either Gift Tags KIDS or Gift Tags ALL (or both) and print on the reverse side. Each page can be cut into four gift tags.

Coordinate a Drive

  • Winter – Coats, hats and gloves, umbrellas, hoodies, warm socks,
  • Outdoors – flashlights, raingear, umbrella, sun glasses, sketch pad, journal, etc.
  • Bedtime – Twin Blankets, Sheets and Towels(some gently used ok) Pillows, nightlights, alarm clock, slippers, PJs of all sizes throw rugs, desk lamps, small mirror, throws or wraps, reading glasses
  • Underwear – tees/socks/boxers/briefs/panties all sizes girl/boy, man/woman, watches, belts, slippers, hair clips, grooming items
  • Kitchen – silverware sets, bowls, rugs, drinking glasses, mugs, pots and pans, dishes, kitchen towels, etc.
  • Gift cards - of all sorts, including phone cards, bus passes and hair cuts
  • Food drive (see the Kitchen below)

Give a Tree and/or a Stand
Provide and deliver a Christmas tree, tree stand or shared houses in Petaluma and Rohnert Park or a fire retardent Christmas tree, stand and child friendly ornaments for the Family Center.

Give a Holiday Meal
Provide a holiday meal or groceries (or a gift card) to any of our families in shared housing or transitional housing in Petaluma and Rohnert Park or the Family Center.

Holiday Food drives are essential to our food supply.

Donors please bring offerings to
The Kitchen, 301 Payran, Petaluma
between 7am and 2pm any day of the week.
If needed we can pick up food collected, just need to give us a call. The Kitchen 778-6380.
