Overview:

• Provides emergency shelter for up to 35 family members and on-site childcare, freeing parents to focus on the core causes of their homelessness.?

• Each family receives case management to develop action plans which include full assessment of children?s developmental, educational, physical and mental health combined with analysis of family?s homelessness issues.?

• Parents receive mental health and chemical dependency assessment/treatment, help obtaining employment or public benefits, financial literacy training and housing search assistance.

• Families must participate in Residential Parenting Education that emphasizes well-being of the children as the compass for family decision-making.?The Residential Parenting Education approach integrates with COTS? parenting education program, Kids First.
